AFR started when Alan (vocals) and Ledwing (guitars) decided they would join ideas for side projects into one band. 
Not long after, members of their main projects had to leave those due to other reasons and thus, AFR was born. 
Since then they've taken an aggressively DIY work ethic, even learning new recording techniques and software 
(such as different techniques for drum recording)
